I get cold sores occasionally and they are so painful and take forever to heal. Does anyone know of any home remedies to heal them up faster, or maybe something over the counter I can get to get rid of it?

a friend of mine uses abriva…..i think that’s how you spell it….walmart has it usually by the pharmacy…a little pricey but friend swears by it

it started out as just a little bump then over night it turned into a bunch of bumps and is all nasty looking now. I do get cold sores but thos is the first one i have had in almost 2 years. ANyone with any suggestions or remedies on how to get rid of this thing fast?

I found a nasty cold sore on the corner of my mouth last night and finally decided to do something about it. would it hurt if i put oxy maximum strength acne treatment on it? (The active ingredient is benzoyl peroxide or would i be better off with chap stick and isopropyl alcohol? Are there any other quick home remedies known? Thanks for any help!

I’m seeing my boyfriend tomorrow, and i go a cold sore today! I really don’t want him to see it! Does anyone have any tricks or old remedies that could help me get rid of it by tomorrow?

I use anbosol, it kills the virus and it heals,but, there is a new thing out that can mask a cold sore. I keep seeing the commercials but can’t remember what it’s called. Check it out at a pharmacy.
