I have seen things on-line that claim you can completely heal cold sores forever with home remedies but I would like to know what they are and if anyone has experience with this.

The best treatment for cold sores (which are herpetic lesions) is zovirax. It is acquired by prescription.

it started out as just a little bump then over night it turned into a bunch of bumps and is all nasty looking now. I do get cold sores but thos is the first one i have had in almost 2 years. ANyone with any suggestions or remedies on how to get rid of this thing fast?

Home remedies like tooth paste on pimples, and strawberries to help whiten teeth have really seemed to work for me! And, well, the more the merrier!

chapped lips: rub them with a hot toothbrush, and use blistex
Cold sored: blistex works really well for them too
Pimples: still waiting on that one.. 
Whiter teeth: i got crest whitestrips and they worked SO well.

help VERY much needed please. okay i obvs caught my cold sore from my boyfriend because no one in my family have cold sores. to get the the point I’m not allowed at all to go out with a guy till i am 18 since im 17. Now i have tried countless times to convince my parents (in the most mature way possible )if i could go out with a guy. I still had to go out with a guy behind their backs and well i defo caught a cold sore of him, because he complained the day after he kissed me that he had one, and it’s beem aprox almost 20 days since that happened. Ok if my parents find that i have a cold sore they will surely ground me for the remainder of my days under the household. I dont want any advice on how to convince my parents on getting a boyfriend, i just really need to know how i can disguise my cold sore when i am around my parents. Also do you know any (quick) and natural remedies i can use to cure one fast? please please help me here.

That’s a stupid question; you could have got it from anywhere. It doesn’t necessarily follow that if you’ve got a coldsore you’ve been kissing someone. If your family think like that, then that is weird.

L-Lysine cream or ointment can be purchased in most health food stores and some pharmacies. You can take the tablets too for a while. It works much quicker and better than Zovirax which requires a prescription.
I think home remedies will not work for this one.

I’m thinking one old remedy is putting earwax on a cold sore. I’m 98% sure about this. Can you believe I had a cold sore a few weeks ago, but didn’t think about the shittt until I seen your question?

or you can go to the chemist and ask for some cold sore cream, it works best if you apply it as soon as you notice it.

Okay, I’m always getting cold sores. Especially when I get colds which is at least once every three months. I’ve tried alot of things to make them go away quicker but no of them work. I’ve recently tried Herpecin L but that actully spread it. Pleasee help!!! Thanks

Since cold sores are caused by the oral herpes simplex virus, they don’t exactly have a “cure” like other things caused by bacteria. Try some Carmex to alleviate some of the symptoms.
