ok so the weather is changing and i have a cold sore form it. It is located right under my nose above my lip. what can i use that will get rid of it fast? I am so embarresed. i hate using the medication kind bc they really dry my skin out. i will have dry skin there for a few weeks so does anyone have any home remedies?

I get cold sores every few months. Each time, they appear right below my bottom lip, almost completely on my chin. Does anyone know any remedies to make them disappear? I use a product called Abreva which seems to work pretty well, but it’s not fast enough! Help!

Herpecin lip balm. It seems to work the fastest. But you should find out why you are getting them.
Stress, acidic foods, too much sun can cause them. They are a herpes virus..that you can’t get rid of.
Talk to you Doc if you are getting an outbreak as often as you say.

I get cold sores occasionally and they are so painful and take forever to heal. Does anyone know of any home remedies to heal them up faster, or maybe something over the counter I can get to get rid of it?

a friend of mine uses abriva…..i think that’s how you spell it….walmart has it usually by the pharmacy…a little pricey but friend swears by it
