The best treatment for cold sores (which are herpetic lesions) is zovirax. It is acquired by prescription.

I heard Lysine really helps. I get about 9 to 12 outbreaks a year and its HORRIBLE. Please let me know of any -thing that might be out there.Thanks!!!

If you can handle the taste, neem oil or neem tea can be put on the sore itself. It is extremely bitter.
Prolly best to use when not on a lip. In addition, start taking 3 neem bark or leaf capsule per day when you feel one coming on, and 1 cinnamon, 1 ginger and 1 turmeric. You may find that by taking the neem and turmeric you don’t get anymore. ever.
