Question by : Treatment for a cold sore?
Are there any home remedies for cold sores? I know not to touch it, not to kiss, and to keep my hands washed, but I need to know something I can put on it.

Surgical spirit does help to dry the sores, however the definitive management is acyclovir, Zovirax.
